Abstract
Feilsikker flyelektronisk grensesnittenhet (10) som, tjener som et protokollomformersystem for oversettelse av data for styreformål fra en digital kommunikasjons-buss (65) til en analog styrekanal som en oppgradering eller et grensesnitt til et eksisterende analogt styresystem. Den flyelektroniske grensesnittenheten (10) innbefatter en digital grensesnittbusslogikk. (101), en digital dataprosessormodul (102), et analogt grensesnitt og en modusvalgkrets (104). Data kommuni-sert over den digitale grensesnittbussen (65) blir periodisk oversatt til ekvivalente og analoge styre-signaler. For sikkerhetens skyld sikrer den flyelektroniske grensesnittenheten (10) integriteten til systemet ved gjentagende å gå tilbake i sløyfe eller foreta en rundhopping av digitale ekvivalenter til de analoge utgangssignalene og sammenligne dem med kommanderte digitale styreverdier. Protokoll-omformersystemet overvåker dessuten kommunikasjonene over den digitale databussen med hensyn til datakon-tinuitet.
