Abstract
Et elektrisk system for et elektrisk kjøretøy omfatter et hovedbatteri som kraftkilde, og en halvleder-effektomformer for å drive en drivmotor for hjulene. Støtdestruerende brytere (301 til 304) er satt inn i forbindelseslinjene (201 og 203) som forbinder et hovedbatteri (1) med halvleder-effekt-omformeren (4), og i en forbindelseslinje (202) som forbinder hovedbatteriblokkene (110 og 120). Hver støtdestruerende bryter bryter sin ledeevne ved å eksplodere en sprengladning i bryteren som følge av et støt på grunn av en kollisjon med kjøretøyets legeme. I tilfelle en nødsituasjon, så som en kollisjon, blir forbindelseslinjene fri for spennin-gen, siden hovedbatteriet øyeblikkelig frakoples forbindelseslinjen ved bryterne. Dette gjør det mulig å hindre brann, og å kappe kjøretøyets legeme for å redde passasjerer.
