Abstract
Formålet med oppfinnelsen er å tilveiebringe en fremgangsmåte for brannslukning som krever en liten mengde slukkevæske for å slukke en brann og forhindre gjenantennelse. Under brannslukning i leiligheter o.l. blir brannen først dempet ved utsprøytning av tåkelignende væske og deretter blir en konsentrert væskestråle rettet inn i det ulmende arnested. For dette formål blir det foreslått å benytte en pistol- lignende slukkeanordning (1) med en hydraulisk akkumulator (5) som drivenhet og forsynt med et spredehode (3) som først, når trykket i den hydrau- liske akkumulator er høyt, frembringer en tåkelig- nende væskedusj, og senere, når trykket i den hydrau- liske akkumulator er redusert, frembringer en konsen- trert væskestråle. Ved slukning av branner som utvikler intens varme, blir brannen først dempet ved utsprøytning av en vannstråle fra forholdsvis lang avstand og deretter slukket ved utsprøytning av en væsketåke på nært hold. For dette formål foreslås det, parallelt med et tåkefrembringende sprederhode, å anordne en separat dyse for frembringelse av en kraftig, konsentrert vannstråle. For å veksle fra utsprøytning av væsketåke til utsprøytning av en vannstråle og omvendt, kan det benyttes en konven- sjonell ventil.
