Abstract
For å kontrollere oljeulykker og forhindre at oljefllm som driver på vannet sprer seg, er det fremskaffet en oljeadsorber (1) spesielt formet som en barriere (2). Denne barrieren (2) er utformet l to deler. Begge cellene (9, 10) er fullstendig fylt med fIbermaterlale eller med tilsvarende flbermatter (11, 12). Glass- flbrene (28, 30) l toppcellen er gjort hydrofobe med passende belegging, mens fibrene l bunncellen (10) Ikke er behandlet, slik at de kan absorbere vann (¿). I begge tilfeller blir det benyttet epoksyharplks eller en syntetisk harpiks som har de samme eller tilsvarende egenskapene, slik at lang levetid blir oppnådd med optimal holdbarhet og design-muligheter. Oljeadsorberen (1) fremstilt slik, kan bil benyttet som både barriere (2) og som flatesugende elementer, f.eks. for å rense lekkasjevann fra skip (3). Det er også mulig å anvende flate eller traktformede materialer for oppsamling av bestanddeler for eksempel fra en vandig oppløsning.
