Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for å bestemme potensen til bovin somatotropin er beskrevet. Nivået til biologisk aktivt bovint somatotropln protein l en bovin somatotropin- prøve er målt ved størrelseseksklusjons HPLC ved anvendelse som stasjonær fase en hydrofll porøs polymergel som har en gjennomsnittlig partlkkeldlameter på omtrent 5 pm til omtrent 15 pm og som en mobil fase en buffret vandig oppløsning som har en pH på omtrent 8 til omtrent 12 og som er Ikke-denaturerende for den bovlne somatotroplnprøven. Potensen til den bovine somatotroplnprøven blir bestemt basert på nivået av det biologiske aktive bovine somatotropin protein som blir målt. Fremgangsmåten tilvelebrlnger en hurtig og nøyaktig måling av potensen til en bST prøve.
