Abstract

Oppfinnelsen er en forbedring i en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av cellulosegjenstander, idet fremgangsmåten omfatter separasjon av cellulose- materiale fra en blanding som inneholder en væske, metallkationer og cellulose- materiale. Forbedringen omfatter at det til blandingen tilsettes minst ett til- bakeholdingsmateriale som binder minst ett metallkation og som ved separasjonen holdes tilbake i cellulosematerialet. Egnede tilbakeholdingsmidler er enten organiske eller uorganiske og inkluderer chelatdannende polymerer, både synte- tiske og naturlige, kolloidale suspen- sjoner av uorganiske forbindelser, og blandede metallhydroksyder. I hvert tilfelle forblir metallkationene i cellulosegjenstanden, som for eksempel kan være papir, i stedet for å gå inn i avløpsvannet fra hvilket det ellers ville være nødvendig å fjerne dem.
