Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for forbrenning av faststoffer i en forbrenningskjele (1) som Innbe- fatter minst et fyrrom (2) og et etterbrennlngskammer (4). Luft føres med overlydhastlghet inn i en over- gangssone (I) mellom fyrrommet (2) og etterbrennings- kammeret (4). Det beskrives også en innretning for forbrenning av faststoffer, hvilken innretning består av en forbrenningskjele (1) med et fyrrom (2) og et etterbrenningskammer (4), idet det ved forbrennings- gassutløpet fra fyrrommet (2) er anordnet lavaldyser (13,14) hvorigjennom komprimert og oppvarmet luft med overlydhastighet føres inn l røkgassene. Luften tilveiebringes ved hjelp av en kompressor (20) og en varmeveksler (21).
