Abstract
Det beskrives et hybridgam som er kjennetegnet ved at det består av to grupper filamenter, hvorav den ene gruppen består av en eller flere typer forsterkningsfilamenter (filamenter (A)) og den andre gruppen består av en eller flere typer matriksfilamenter (filamenter (B)). Filamentene (A) er enten uorganiske filamenter eller filamenter av såkalte høy- ytelsespolymerer eller på forhånd krympede og/eller fikserte organiske filamenter av andre organiske polymerer, som er egnede for fremstilling av høyfaste filamenter. Filamentene (B) er fortrinnsvis strukkede polyester-, polyamid- eller polyeterimid- filamenter. Garnene fremstilles ved at en første gruppe av filamenter (filament (A)) og en andre gruppe av filamenter (filament (B)) virvles i en virvlings- eller blåseteksturerings- innretning hvorved filamentene (A) tilføres i overskudd.
