Abstract
Isoleringslegeme. Vanlige isoleringslegemer av skummede plaster, som finnes i handelen, har vanligvis en varmeledningsevne på 0,03 W(m.K) og mer. Selv for plaster som er drevet med gasser som leder varme dårlig, oppnås det sjelden bedre verdier fordi det oftest raskt inntreffer en utveksling av gass med luft. Isoleringslegemet ifølge oppfinnelsen som er fremstilt av plast som er skummet med tung gass, har derimot en forseglet overflate og får således en varmeledningsevne på mindre enn 0,02 W/(m . K) ved 20°C . Varmeisolering av apparater, beholdere, rør og bygninger.
