Abstract
Oppfinnelsen angår fremgangsmåter og apparat for å legge undersjøiske rørledninger av den typen hvor rørledningen blir sammensatt langs en horisontal akse ombord i et rørleggings- fartøy før den blir lagt ut fra dette; hvor rørledningen blir plastisk bøyd til en ønsket utleggsvinkel, og i de fleste tilfeller, i det minste delvis utrettet senere. I foretrukne utførelser, blir rørledningen bøyd gjennom en vinkel på mer enn 90°. I den mest foretrukne utførelse, blir rørledningen avledet gjennom en vinkel på tilnærmet 270°, pluss eller minus en vinkel som tillater en variasjon i utleggsvinkelen fra vertikalretningen, og krysser seg selv før den entrer vannet. Rørledningen (102) blir avledet ved at den føres rundt en hjullignende avledningskonstruksjon (104), og rørledningen blir sammensatt i flere fabrikasjonslinjer for å produsere stilker som blir innrettet og forbundet i en sentral avfyr- ingslinje før de blir matet rundt avledningskonstruksjonen.
