Abstract
En rotor (1) er av en hovedsakelig sfærisk form der en fullstendig halvdel av sfæren (2) fremdeles er igjen. Rotoren (1) har form som hodet av en sopp. Den andre halvdel av sfæren har hatt noe av sitt ma- teriale fjernet eller utelatt slik at det formes en stamme (3) . Dybden av skjæret " D" og lengden " L" , radien av sfæren vil bestemme forholdet mellom vek- ten av den fullstendige halvsfære (2) og stammedelen (3). Vekten av den ene halvdel i forhold til den an- dre halvdel av det sfæriske legeme er mellom 0,75 og 0,85 og med foretrukket 0,8. Når en ekstern kraft påføres rotoren l, roterer den om et par ortogonale akser, en av hvilke dannes av kanten (6) av det sfæ- riske legeme mellom de to halvdeler.
