Abstract

Fremgangsmåten utfeller tilsetningsstoffer på nikkelhydroksidkimer (nikkelhydroksidkjerner) i en ammoniakkoppløsning. Innføringen av minst ett metallisk tilsetningsstoff i den vandige oppløsning skaper en slurry med et reduserende potensial. Tilsetningsstoffet er valgt fra gruppen bestående av aluminium, kadmium, kobolt, indium, jern, mangan og sink. Innføring av oksygen i den tilsetningsstoffholdige slurry i en kontrollert takt opprettholder det reduserende potensial i oppløsningen. Minst ett av tilsetningsstoffene oppløses i den vandige oppløsning i overskudd av oppløsingsevnen i slurryoppløsningen for å utfelle tilsetningsstoffet i form av et hydroksid på nikkelhydroksidkimene.
