Abstract

Se refiere a un metodo que comprende una combinacion de un agente repelente o un agente atrayente con un agente indicativo visual especifico de una longitud de onda que produce un efecto inesperado y sinergico de aumento de la repelencia o atraccion en animales dicromaticos que no son maximamente sensibles a la longitud de onda del agente repelente o atrayente; el metodo puede usarse para repeler plagas de animales dicromaticos o para prevenir o minimizar el dano economico, particularmente para productos agricolas, recursos naturales o propiedad privada; se puede usar para atraer animales dicromaticos con el proposito de la produccion agricola, oportunidades recreativas (por ejemplo, alimentadores de roedores silvestres), o la administracion eficaz de compuestos farmaceuticos de animales objetivo o tecnicas de mitigacion.
