Abstract

This utility model disclosed a lock mechanism for a safe which comprises a crank plate mounted on the rear surface of the safe door in combination with the pivoting handle of the safe, and a lockset with retractable lock plate mounted in a predetermined location on the rear surface of the safe door in combination with the numerical dial lock key of the safe. The crank plate has a lock arm member which engages with the retractable lock plate in lock position and disengages from the retractable locked plate in unlocked position. Crank plate in turn is provided with arm linkages with respective lock bolt which are receive on corresponding bores being provided on the safe storage housing.
