Abstract

This utility model disclosed a lock mechanism for a safe which comprises a first crank plate mounted on the rear surface of the safe door in combination with the pivoting handle of the safe, a second crank plate pivotally mounted at a predetermined position at the rear surface of the door with an intermediate arm linkage pivotally connecting first and second crank plate to provide simultaneous pivotal movement thereof, and a lockset with retractable lock plate mounted in a predetermined location on the rear surface of the safe door in combination with the numerical dial lock key of the safe. The first crank plate has a lock arm member which engages with the retractable lock plate in lock position and disengages from the retractable locked plate in unlocked position. First and second crank plates in turn are provided with arm linkages with respective lock bolt which are receive on corresponding bores being provided on the safe storage housing.
