Description

Niedokladnosc ta wynika zwlaszcza z luzów mechanicznych miedzy poszczególnymi czesciami ruchomymi formy oraz z ewentualnego przedostawania sie miedzy tymi czesciami, czastek gipsu utrudniajacych dokladne zamkniecie formy. 1 i 2 przedstawiaja w przekroju poziomym forme przeznaczona do odlewania kwadratowych plytek z gipsu, odpowiednio w polozeniu wyjmowania z formy oraz w polozeniu formowania, fig. 3 — uklad form takich jak przedstawiono na fig. 1 i 2 w przekroju pionowym i poprzecznym, fig. 4 — w przekroju pionowym forme podczas operacji wyjmowania odlewu z formy, a fig. Odksztalcalne elementy 3 z materialu elastycznego wcisniete miedzy sciany 2 formy 1 maja ksztaltujace powierzchnie 4 umozliwiajace uzyskanie, w takim stanie odksztalcenia, bocznych wypuklosci gipsowej plytki 7. Przykladowo elementy te moga zawierac zamknieta powloke z materialu elastycznego, tworzaca odpowiednia powierzchnie formowania i wypelniona plynem niesciskalnym lub twardymi kulkami o malych rozmiarach. Sposób ten umozliwia uzyskanie bardziej znacznych odchylen powierzchni formujacych niz poprzednio. PL PL PL PL PL PL PLThe invention concerns a mold for casting plaster elements. Plaster elements are typically formed using split molds or molds with movable parts that prevent friction against the mold walls during removal of the produced element. These molds are unwieldy because sufficiently precise connection of the mold's movable parts cannot be achieved, which causes dimensional deviations in the final product. This inaccuracy results primarily from mechanical play between the individual movable parts of the mold and the possible ingress of plaster particles between these parts, which hinders precise mold closure. Also known are molds used specifically for forming prismatic elements, which have fixed side walls, removable parts, such as covers, and sliding-sliding parts used as bottom walls. The produced element can be removed from the mold by retracting the upper part of the mold and moving the bottom of the mold, for example, using hydraulic jacks, so that the plaster is pushed into the upper part of the mold and out of it by squeezing. For these operations, which require the use of significant forces, a mold with perfectly flat, smooth, and highly hardened inner walls should be used to prevent damage to the surface of the plaster element or to the mold surface. This method, which requires the use of highly precise molds, is extremely expensive. It is also known that, after removal from the mold, the plaster boards must be transported to a storage, drying, or steaming station. This transport is particularly problematic due to the fact that the plaster setting process is not yet complete once it is removed from the mold, and the tiles exhibit very low mechanical strength. Therefore, plaster tiles are often damaged during this transport. This inconvenience is especially magnified when using non-homogeneous plasters, whose setting times vary significantly between tiles.2 100 085 . During the same molding process, it often happens that tiles produced from the same batch of poured plaster are not all suitable for transport. The invention aims to eliminate these drawbacks by developing a mold that differs fundamentally from split molds or molds containing movable parts in that, although it contains parts that move relative to each other to allow the free removal of the produced element from the plaster, at no point during the mold's use does any gap arise that would allow the entry of plaster particles, which could hinder the closing of the mold or adversely affect the mold's accuracy. According to the invention, a mold for casting plaster elements, comprising two parallel walls, between which, at two opposite ends of the mold, profile elements are placed closely adjacent to the parallel walls, is characterized in that the profile elements of the mold, made of an incompressible material, rest on a stop with their outer surface. The profile elements of the mold are covered with an incompressible elastic material. A stiffening element is placed in one of the mold's profiled elements. This invention is suitable for automating production processes and enables very high molding rates even when using non-homogeneous plasters, especially phosphorus-based binders (TZ dbeit). This invention also eliminates the need for any gripping devices such as tongs or other tools, and enables the removal of tiles with very low mechanical strength from molds. The invention is illustrated in an embodiment in the drawings, in which: 1 and 2 show in horizontal section a mold intended for casting square plaster tiles, in the demolding position and in the molding position, respectively, fig. 3 — an arrangement of molds such as those shown in fig. 1 and 2 in vertical and cross-section, fig. 4 — a vertical section of the mold during the demolding operation, and fig. 5 — a horizontal section of the same mold in the same casting phase, in another embodiment. The mold 1 shown in fig. 1 has two vertical and parallel walls 2 made of a material of medium hardness with an appropriate surface finish, and two incompressible, deformable elements 3 made of an elastic material, having two prismatic molding surfaces 4 located opposite each other. * The deformable elements 3 may be made of an elastomer, for example neoprene or silicone or another material with analogous mechanical properties. This elastomer has the property that it can be pressed in a specific direction (arrow 5) under the influence of a force applied in that direction. Due to the fact that this elastomer is incompressible, its volume remains constant, and the losses resulting from the pressure in the direction of arrow 5 are accompanied by a directional increase in accordance with arrow 6. The invention uses this property of the elastomer to enable the removal of plaster elements from the mold, since the elastomer is subjected to pressure during the pouring of the plaster and then freed from any mechanical stress during removal from the mold. The form 1 is shown in Fig. 2 in the forming position, and both inner surfaces of the walls 2 made of a material of medium hardness to which the elastomer pressure forces are applied are kept apart to the thickness of the plaster plate 7 by means of two metal elements 8 placed between these walls. Deformable elements 3 made of elastic material pressed between the walls 2 of the form 1 have shaping surfaces 4 which enable obtaining, in such a state of deformation, lateral protrusions of the gypsum plate 7. Removal of the gypsum plate from the form is carried out by eliminating the lateral pressure forces on the walls 2 and thus on the deformable elements 3. Eliminating the pressure simultaneously causes the deflection of the walls 2 and, as a result of the withdrawal of the elastomer element 3, the deflection of the surfaces 4 determining the thickness of the plate 7 (fig.). The plate 7 can then be removed effortlessly, without upward or downward friction, without the need for inclined mold walls and without creating gaps that would allow the passage of gypsum particles that could adversely affect subsequent molding operations. Figure 3 shows an arrangement of molds 1 mounted in parallel, in which the internal walls 2 of the arrangement are common to two adjacent molds. The upper parts of the plates 7 are formed by means of molding elements 9 mounted on the edges of the side walls 2, leaving pouring holes 10, the surface of the plates corresponding to these holes 10 being obtained by scraping. The lower parts of the tiles 7 are formed by means of a bottom 11 provided with protrusions 12 for each of the molds 1, the walls 2 rest on the bottom 11, and the bottom is connected to a fixed base or placed on the ground. The pressure of the elements 3 can be achieved by exerting pressure on both outer walls of the mold system, causing deformation of these elements 3. Such an arrangement of the molds 1 allows for convenient further transport of the gypsum tiles 7 directly after removal from the mold. 100 085 3 Using the invention, it is possible to advantageously transport the system of molds alone, in which the tiles are partially held, with the lower surfaces of the tiles being removed from the molds during the lifting of the mold system in the first phase of transport, because the bottom 11 is fixed. Once the mold system 1 has reached the exit station, the demoulding process is completed by eliminating the forces holding the elements 3 in the clamp and by lifting the molds, which are then detached from the plates 7 before the molds are returned to the molding zone. During this operation, the plates are removed in the lower part of the mold, which remains open, with the bottom 11 missing. The invention is not limited to the use of elements 3 made of an elastomer or a deformable, incompressible and elastic material. The elements 3 can also be replaced by other devices that achieve the same results. For example, these elements can comprise a closed shell of elastic material, forming a suitable molding surface, and filled with an incompressible fluid or with small-sized hard spheres. The invention also provides for the use of an element 3 in which the two deflection actions (deflection of its own forming surfaces and deflection of both walls 2) are independent. Such an element 3 can then be made by means of two closed shells, each connected to a hydraulic or pneumatic device, one of these shells being provided with a forming surface, and the other serving only to achieve the deflection of walls 2. The operation of the hydraulic or pneumatic device is as follows. During forming, the shell comprising the forming surface is subjected to pressure while the other shell is not under pressure; during removal from the mold, the second shell is subjected to pressure while the first is not under pressure. This method allows for more significant deflections of the forming surfaces than previously. Element 3 may also be a mechanical device enabling the simultaneous deflection of the forming surfaces 4 and walls 2 under the influence of pressure, for example, a hydraulic or pneumatic jack. However, it sometimes happens that during removal from the mold, especially due to the presence of a water layer between the flat surfaces of the mold and the molded element, the element separates from the mold on one side only and remains adhered to the mold wall on the other. Detaching the molded element from the mold wall without damaging the plaster is made even more difficult because the elastic element, whose protrusion is inserted into the groove it creates, then exerts asymmetric pressure on both edges of this thin concave part, thus causing the formation of cracks and fractures that occur in some tiles. In another embodiment according to the invention, the walls of the mold connected by two deformable elements are formed as plates that become flat under the action of pressure exerted on these walls, thus enabling the mold to assume its molding position, and assume a non-flat shape when the mold is no longer subjected to pressure during removal of the plaster element from the mold. In this embodiment, a second means is advantageously provided that cooperates with the first and prevents damage to the side surfaces of the molded plaster element, provided with a central recess formed by the deformable elements, when asymmetric pressure is exerted during the expansion of these deformable elements during removal from the mold, on the edges of the molded element of reduced thickness in the recesses of the side walls. To the deformable element, or to form the side walls with a central recess, a rigid, inflexible element is advantageously added, the part of which located between the deformable elements has the cross-section of the desired recess. This embodiment of the invention is shown in Fig. 4, where on a horizontal bottom part 11, optionally mounted on a support or placed on the ground in the workshop and provided with protrusions 12, two vertical walls 2' are supported during forming, shown in the drawing in a state of their equilibrium without external pressures during removal from the mold. Metal elements 9 applied to the upper edge of the walls T provide the appropriate shape of the corner, and a pouring opening 10 is provided between these elements to enable pouring of liquid gypsum distributed in the space 7. The adjacent mold is also visible. In the embodiment of the invention shown in Fig. 5, the mould has walls 2", deformable elements 3 and 3', of which element 3 comprises a recess and element 3' is provided with stiffeners 13, for example of polished metal, the external shape of which corresponds to the shape of the recess formed in the plate. The metal plates 8 serve as a stop for elements 3 and 3' and maintain, during moulding, a distance of 2" between the walls. The individual moulds shown in the drawing can of course be connected in series as described above, each wall, with the exception of the walls at the extreme ends of the arrangements, being common to two adjacent moulds. Such an arrangement or part of the embodiments described above can be incorporated into a mould in accordance with the present invention. To perform the moulding of the plaster, the moulds are placed on the bottom part 11 and sufficient pressure is exerted on at least one wall to bring the walls 2, originally curved, into almost perfect flatness, the spread and position of these walls being maintained by the bottom and by the elements 9 and 11. This pressure may be exerted in a substantially uniform manner by hydraulic or pneumatic means acting on a flat rigid plate, not shown, having a surface approximately equal to that of the walls 2. The walls shown in the drawing are curved. The deflection curve, corresponding to the greatest distance between the point of concavity of the bend and the position of that same point after flatness has been achieved, is on the order of 1/1000 the size of the longer sides of the flat surfaces of the formed element, i.e., the plates, and has dimensions ranging from 3/10 to 8/10 mm. These walls can be straightened by placing two sheet metal plates on an iron frame, each with at least one smooth surface and separated by a filler of constant thickness. At least two of the plate's sides opposite the frame are bent. By straightening under the influence of pressure, these plates press the deformable elements and cause them to yield in the only possible unimpeded direction, that is, towards the inside of the mold. The plaster is then poured in, and once the appropriate degree of setting is achieved to ensure the tile does not deform under its own weight, the mold or mold system is moved, for example, to a drying zone. The pressure is then released and the deformable elements resume their original shape, thus deflecting the walls, which simultaneously become concave, allowing air to pass between the walls and the plaster. Rigid element 3 moves in this general direction of retraction, moving along the axial plane of the created recess, without exerting asymmetric pressure on either edge of the recess, even if one of the vertical walls has previously reached its equilibrium position or if local adhesion of the plaster to the wall occurs. The wall thickness is preferably chosen so that after the tiles are unloaded, which is easily done by simply moving the mold vertically, there remains a gap between the tiles necessary to ensure their drying by means of the airflow supplied by the fan. This gap is, for example, 30 mm for 30 mm thick tiles. PL PL PL PL PL PL PL
