W szczególnosci duze trudnosci sprawia ulozyskowanie obracajacego sie bebna i uszczelnienie polaczen miedzy nim a opasujacym go zbiornikiem. A4 Cena 45 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a rod-wheel dehydrator for root crops, especially sugar beet, washed in rinse of eye plants, especially sugar beet. Various types of devices for dewatering root crops, especially sugar beet, are known. These are various types of fixed and agitated grates, which, however, cause damage to the beetroot, and in addition, when the beetroot flows higher, they require additional devices for moving the beet (through the grates. There are also devices consisting of consisting of a series of rotating parallel rollers on which are mounted eccentric discs, provided with flexible rims, made, for example, of rubber, and positioned in such a way that the discs of one of the rollers penetrate the gaps between the discs of adjacent rollers. the devices destroy the raw material to a slightly lesser degree, however, they are many times more expensive than water separators equipped with grates. devices with a movable grate, made of a series of V-belts arranged next to each other, stretched between two drums. Such devices damage the raw material to a minimum extent, but require relatively frequent decommissioning due to the necessity of replacing the V-belts, the life of which is sometimes too short to permit failure-free operation throughout the entire campaign. Moreover, with the exception of the recently described apparatus, all the others are not capable of conveying the raw material to a higher level, and even in the case of a water separator with a movable grate made of V-belts, the difference in level obtained between the inlet and the outlet of the raw material is relatively small. finally, for example from Polish Patent No. 70,237, a rotary water separator, consisting of a screen drum, provided inside with metal spirals, for transporting beetroot, additionally provided with a water spray inside the drum, which, moreover, at the bottom is wrapped around is sealed to a reservoir, the drum wrap around the reservoir being most preferably 120 ° to 180 °. The drum, driven by a separate drive system, rotates around its horizontal axis, transporting the drained beets horizontally by means of its internal spiral and at the same time allows the beet water to drain through the drum sieve walls. This separator, however, is a complicated bag. It is expensive and requires a very high precision. Particularly difficult is the bearing of the rotating drum and the sealing of the connections between it and the surrounding tank. With higher flows of bricks through the water separator of the type described, the transport spirals inside the drum are not suitable for transporting the beet, which, falling from the upper parts of the spiral downwards, often onto the sharp edges of the lower part of the spiral, injures and breaks. According to Sokolow, experiments carried out with pollutants of similar design have shown that the sieve walls of the drum and the space between the drum and the container surrounding it are easily clogged with impurities transported with the beets, which often forces ¬ holding the device for cleaning. Moreover, such structures, as described in Polish patent No. 70 237, are not suitable for the processing of beets with high capacities, more than 4 to 10 and 12 thousand tons per day due to the monstrous dimensions The object of the present invention is to provide a simple and efficient device for separating water from rinsed root crops, especially sugar beet, which, moreover, would allow the simultaneous lifting of drained root crops to a higher level and this with a relatively large difference in level. At the same time, this device should be suitable for drainage of transported root crops from the transport water, that is to say when placing the device in front of beetroot or other root rippers. According to the invention, the device has the form of a drum, the axial dimensions of which are substantially smaller than the radial dimensions, made of two rings, between the outer edges of which the bars are stretched, forming the outer surface of the drum in the form of a grate with spacing between the risers approximately half the diameter of beet or other drained root crops. Inside the drum thus formed, between its front rings, radius blades are made, also having the form of grates made of rods. The drum is connected by spokes to a hub mounted on a rotating axle, driven by a drive motor by means of a gear that gives the drum a rotary motion. The lower part of the drum, below the hub, is a bathtub, provided with a stub pipe draining water, separated in the device according to The invention differs from that in other known devices, especially in the device according to the Polish Patent No. 70,237. The bathtub covers only the lower part of the drum, therefore, in the solution according to the invention, there is no need for any seals between the drum and the bathtub, usually very susceptible to damage by impurities contained in transported trenches. An inflow trough is attached to the tub, which supplies the trench with water to the inside of the device, and the outlet of this trough is inside the drum. Trench, brought to the inside of the drum by this gutter are filled with pockets made of rods and having the shape of grates, placed inside the drum, where the water supplied with the root pipes freely flows between the bars of the blades grates and the outer surface of the drum to the tub, where it is drained through the drainage socket. The trench, filling pockets 337 4 between the drum's radial blades are lifted upwards with the rotation of the drum, where in the upper position of the respective blades they fall out of the pockets 5 formed between the blades onto the receiving chute, inserted into the drum interior, where they are discharged to further processing. In order to separate the residual water, the receiving gutter has a lower surface made in the form of a known grate made of rods, under which there is a basket, provided with a drain pipe, draining the rest of the water from the basket, separated on the drain gutter grate. The device according to the invention is characterized by a simple structure that does not require the use of any seals and high precision of workmanship, and is also insensitive to clogging by impurities. However, the most important advantages of the device according to the invention are the achievement of a high lifting height of the drained trench 20 to a higher level, unheard of in other known water separators, and a high efficiency that can be achieved not only by increasing the dimensions of the device, but also by changing the rotational speed. drum. The latter feature also allows the efficiency of the device to be easily adapted to the variable flow rate of trench pipes flowing through it. The device according to the invention is shown in the attached drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the device M in a view from the side of the receiving chute, and Fig. 2 shows the device in a longitudinal section according to the line A-A in Fig. 1. The main separator element according to of the invention is a drum 1, the outer surface 2 of which is made in the form of a grate of bars, spanning between two face rings 3 and 4, the distances between the bars preferably being approximately half the diameter of the trenches flowing through the device. - 40 out. Inside the drum 1, between the front rings 3 and 4 there are radial blades 5, also made in the form of grates made of rods. The front rings 3 and 4 are connected by means of spokes 6 to a hub 7 mounted on an axle, which is rotated by a motor 8 by means of a gear 9, preferably a gear with continuously variable speed control. The bottom part of the drum 1 is embraced by a tub 14 provided with a drain pipe 15. An inlet trough 16 is attached to the tub 14, the outlet of which is located inside the drum 1. In the upper part of the drum 1, a receiving trough 10 is inserted into its interior. covering the entire width of the drum 1. The lower surface of the receiving chute 10 is made in the form of a grate 11, under which there is a basket 12 provided with a drain connector 13. Trench pipes are fed from the flush or drainage trough through the inlet chute 16 to the interior of the drum 1 , where they successively fill, as the drum rotates, the pockets formed in the interior of the drum 1 by radial blades 5. Accompanied by the trench water, the water drains through the slots of the gratings of the outer surface of the drum 1 into the tub 14, from which it is drained through the drain connector 15. Rotating drum 1 it takes up the trench-108 337 6 weights, filling the pockets between the paddles 5, and discharges them into the receiving chute 10, from where they are sent for further processing. The residual water flows from the root crops on the U grate, forming the lower surface of the receiving gutter 10 to the basket 12, from which they are discharged through the outflow nozzle 13. Patent claims 1.
