Description
Przyklad wykonania. Miedz topi sie w grafitowo-szamotowym tyglu. Po roztopieniu i prze¬ grzaniu metalu do temperatury 1 473°K usuwa sie z jej powierzchni pokrycie zuzlowe. Nastepnie wprowadza sie do kapieli za pomoca grafitowego wtapiacza modyfikator w ilosci 0,06% wagowych w stosunku do masy miedzi, zawierajacy 40% wagowych wapnia i 60% wagowych boru. Wapn z borem tworza w cieklej miedzi faze CaB6 o typie i parametrach sieci krystalogra¬ ficznej podobnych do sieci miedzi. Zwiazek ten tworzy heterogeniczne osrodki krystalizacji powodujace modyfi¬ kacje struktury miedzi. Nadmiar zas wapnia reaguje z tlenem powodujac odtlenienie miedzi. Wapn moze równiez reagowac z bizmutem i o.lowiem stanowiacymi zanieczyszczenia miedzi. Prac. Poligraf. UP PRL naklad 120+18 Cena 45 zl PLThe subject of the invention is a modifier of copper and its alloys. Until now, elements such as zircon, titanium, iron and boron have been used to modify copper and its alloys. The mentioned elements did not ensure the sufficient fragmentation of the macrostructure of copper and the required strength and plastic properties. An additional disadvantage resulting from the use of such modifiers, in particular titanium and iron, was their phytic effect on the electrical conductivity of copper. The aim of the invention is to develop a modifier that does not exhibit the above-mentioned inconvenience in the process of modifying copper and its alloys. This problem was solved by developing a two-component modifier containing 30-50% by weight of calcium and 70-50% by weight of boron. The most favorable effects are obtained when using fine pieces of calcium and powdered boron. The modifier is introduced into the bath in an amount of 0.02-0.12%, preferably 0.03-0.06% by weight based on the weight of the alloy. The main technical advantage resulting from the use of the modifier according to the invention is the fragmentation of the macrostructure of copper, which has a positive effect on its mechanical properties and facilitates plastic processing while maintaining the high electrical conductivity of copper. Copper is melted in a graphite-chamotte crucible. After the metal has melted and heated to a temperature of 1,473 ° K, the surface coating is removed from its surface. The modifier is then introduced into the bath with a graphite fuser in an amount of 0.06% by weight based on the weight of copper, containing 40% by weight of calcium and 60% by weight of boron. The effect of the modifier according to the invention on copper is as follows. In the liquid copper, lime and boron form a CaB6 phase with the type and parameters of a crystalline lattice similar to that of a copper lattice. This compound creates heterogeneous crystallization centers that modify the structure of copper. The excess of calcium reacts with oxygen causing copper deoxidation. Calcium can also react with bismuth and lead contaminants in copper. This causes the transition of low-melting2 111335 secretions of the lead-bismuth eutectic into Ca2Pb, CaPb and CaBi compounds with a high melting point. As a result, the tendency of copper to cracks during plastic processing, in particular hot, is reduced. The research has shown that the use of the modifier according to the invention causes increase in tensile strength Rm from 15 to 24 kG / mm2, elongation A5 from 12 to 23% and hardness HB from 63 to 66 kG / mm2. The study of the macrostructure of copper showed a significant refinement of the grains, expressed by an increase in their number on the surface of the screen from 69 to 136. Patent disclaimer * »Modifier of copper and its alloys containing boron? 0.06% by weight, based on the weight of the alloy, characterized by 30-50% by weight, preferably 38-42% of calcium in the piece form and 70-50%, preferably 62-58% of boron in the form of a powder. .Wash.
