The industrial design is for an irregularly shaped candle, consisting of six pieces called CHESS. The essence of the industrial design is a new form of a luminous product, manifested in particular in its characteristic shape, surface arrangement, and color. The industrial design is shown in the attached photographs. Photograph FIG 1 shows a top view of the candle of the first design variant; photograph FIG 2 shows a front view of the candle of the first variant; FIG 3 shows a perspective view of the candle of the first variant; and FIG 4 shows a top view of the candle of the second variant. FIG 5 - presents a perspective view of the candle of the second design variation, photograph FIG 6 - top view of the candle of the third design variation, FIG 7 - front view of the candle of the third design variation, FIG 8 - side view of the third design variation, FIG 9 - perspective view of the third design variation, FIG 10 - top view of the fourth design variation, FIG 11 - perspective view of the fourth design variation, FIG 12 - top view of the fifth design variation, FIG 13 - perspective view of the fifth design variation, FIG 14 - top view of the sixth design variation, FIG 15 - perspective view of the sixth design variation, FIG 16 - collective illustration of six design variations. The essential features of the industrial design result from the candle's body with a new, original shape. An important feature of the new design is that it consists of six similar figures, creating a complete composition. This arrangement consists of pieces such as a king, queen, rook, knight, bishop, and pawn. The first variation of the new design is a figure carved from a cylinder, faithfully representing the symbolic chess piece called the KING. A significant feature of the new design is that the candle, viewed from the side, represents an irregular cone, at the apex of which is a cross, characteristic of this chess symbol. The base of the figure, which is repeated in all variations, is a disc, on which a conical shape is located, widening to 6/7 of its height, gently transitioning into a rounded shape, which is topped with a cross. The lines of the side walls have specific cutouts and recesses. Viewed from above, the figure resembles a traditional circle. The second variation of the design is a figure carved from a cylinder and represents the symbolic chess piece called the QUEEN. A distinctive feature of the new design is that the candle, viewed from above, resembles a traditional circle. The side view is very similar to the previous design, except that a flat disc is located at 5/7 of its height, and the upper part widens sharply into a flat disc, on which are two small, flattened balls of different sizes, placed one above the other. The height of the figure is similar to the first design. The third design is a solid shape resembling a chess piece – the KNIGHT. The side view depicts a figure with a conical base, where at 1/3 of its height it transitions into a shape with the outline of the letter D, and then the profile of a horse's head is superimposed on the top of this solid. The fourth design is created by a chess piece representing a ROOK. The side view shows a unique, unconventional cone, truncated halfway up and superimposed on four discs, creating a cylindrical neck with an uneven surface. The final disc of the neck is topped with a crenellation, a characteristic serrated finish on defensive walls, consisting of higher and lower sections of wall. The fifth variation of the design is a figure resembling a chess bishop. A significant feature of this figure is that it resembles a cone composed of four parts. The first is a ring-shaped base. The next, longer, cone-like part rises above the previous one. The next is a flat disc located at 5/7 of the height, above which is a conical finial at the top, consisting of three discs: the first is the flattest, the second conical, and the third, at the very top, has the shape of an ellipse. The sixth variation of the design is a chess piece – a PAWN. A distinctive feature of this element is that this block has a shape similar to a cone, with a characteristic ring below the rounded head of the piece. This candle is the lowest of the group. This combination of six characteristic blocks creates an extremely interesting and unique composition. The essential features of the industrial design of the CHESS candle result from the use of an original shape in the production of the luminous product. The characteristic, original shapes of all the pieces create an exceptionally interesting combination of a new design that attracts attention with its unusual and elegant appearance. The ability to combine all the elements into one whole makes the new design exceptionally attractive.
