Wytwarzanie polysku na papierze od¬ bywa sie dotychczas w ten sposób, ze na gotowy papier naklada sie mase skladaja¬ ca sie z wosku lub pasty, zawierajacej glównie krede lub tlenek cynku, poczem powierzchnie papieru satynuje sie. Ten sposób nadawania polysku zwieksza ko¬ szty fabrykacji papieru gotowego do dru¬ ku, a prócz tego papiery tego rodzaju nie nadaja sie do druku wielobarwnego, z po¬ wodu zamazywania druku i powstawania plam.Sposób wedlug wynalazku polega na tern, iz do masy papierowej dodaje sie mase, wytworzona przez dodanie do zmy- dlonej stearyny soli grupy metali ciezkich, szczególnie grupy cynkowej, najlepiej bezposrednio w mieszarce.Dodawanie tej masy odbywa sie w spo¬ sób bardzo prosty. Tak np. dodaje sie w mieszarce na 100 czesci masy papierowej 2 — 5 czesci masy, otrzymanej przez zmie¬ szanie zmydlonej stearyny z solami cyn¬ ku.Przyklad wykonania. 15 czesci steary¬ ny zmydla sie z okolo 20 — 25 czesciami potazu zracego lub sody zracej, a do otrzy¬ manego produktu dodaje sie sól ciezkiego metalu, np. 100 kg 5% -owego rozczynu siarczanu cynku. Celem osiagniecia gesto-sci, odpowiedniej dla handlu, wprowadza zlozona ze zmydlonej stearyny i soli me¬ sie w te mase konieczna ilosc glinianu po- tali ciezkich, szczególnie soli grupy cyn- tasowego lub sodowego. kowej.
