The subject of the industrial design is a box for storing and transporting vegetables, particularly carrots, made of thick cardboard or paperboard. The essence of the design is the new form of the box, manifested in its shape and color. Known boxes for storing and transporting vegetables are rectangular cardboard boxes or wooden crates. The vegetable storage and transport box according to the design differs from these known boxes primarily in that its outer walls are provided with color photographs or drawings of the products contained within, imitating the filling of the box with that product. Essential features of the industrial design: The box for storing and transporting vegetables shown in Figs. 1 to 9 has the form of a cuboid open at the top. The shorter side walls of the boxes are provided with elongated rectangular cutouts with rounded shorter sides, serving to insert the fingers and grip the box. A common characteristic of the pattern boxes is that their outer side walls feature a colorful image of carrots, simulating the box's filling. The side walls of the box shown in Figures 1 to 3 are bent inward, creating reinforcing strips at the top. The edges connecting the long side walls to the box's bottom are provided with small rectangular cutouts, while at the top, the outer edges of the long walls are provided with rectangular projections, corresponding in size to the bottom cutouts and allowing the boxes to be stacked. The shorter side walls are provided with notches at the top, allowing the upper portion of these walls to be bent inward, thus reinforcing the edges and ensuring airflow. In addition, the shorter side walls have extensions on the sides, which are cut from the longer side walls and folded four times, creating reinforced corners. At the bottom, the shorter walls have elongated rectangular cutouts with rounded shorter sides for inserting fingers. The box is characterized by the height of its longer side walls being approximately equal to half the width of the box. The box variant shown in Fig. 4 to Fig. 6 differs from the box shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 3 in that it is slightly wider and has lower side walls. The box variant shown in Figs. 7 to 9 differs from the box shown in Figs. 1 to 3 in that its longer side walls are provided with notches at the top, allowing the upper portion of these walls to be folded toward the center of the box. Its shorter walls are provided with small rectangular cutouts at the bottom, and the outer edges of the shorter walls are provided with rectangular projections at the top, corresponding in size to the lower cutouts and enabling the boxes to be stacked.
