Poduszkowiec wyposażony w kadłub, kanały powietrzne, wentylator, silnik, rozdzielacz powietrza charakteryzuje się tym, że przed fotelem (9) lub z boku fotela (9) zamontowany jest drążek sterowniczy połączony z przepustnicami (12) przy pomocy cięgien i sterociągów, a do krawędzi przepustnic (12) zamontowane są ruchome płyty uszczelniające. Kanały napędowe (2) zakończone są dyfuzorami.
