The essence of the industrial design is a new form of lounge furniture set consisting of one-, two-, and three-seater sofas and a pouffe. This new form is manifested in common features: shape, line layout, and the quality of the cushions and upholstery materials, giving the furniture set a unique appearance. The three-seater sofa from the industrial-style lounge furniture set has two armrests / 10 / spaced apart by the width of the triple seat in the form of rectangular cushions / 3 /. Below the cushions is a metal strip / 4 / with U-shaped supports / i and / at the bottom, acting as legs to support the unfolded sofa. The seat cushions / 3 / are supported on a frame, which is mounted on the guides of the mechanism that moves the set of cushions when the sofa is unfolded to a flat position. In the rear section of the sofa, both armrests / 10 / are connected by an externally upholstered box, which houses the seat back cushions, which are pivotally placed when the sofa is unfolded. These cushions support the back cushions / 6 /. In the upper section of the armrests / 10 /, there are undercuts / 7 / shaped, in a side view, similar to a circular segment. The cradle of the undercut is connected to the body of the armrests / 10 / and upholstered in the same material. Below the undercut cradle, on the side surface of the armrests, there is a stitching / 8 / in the upholstery material in the shape of an arc, the curvature of the undercut / 7 / of the armrests / 10 / corresponding to the arc. At the bottom of the armrests /10/ the sofa is supported at the front by rectangular legs /9/ made of metal, while at the back the sofa is supported by legs made of plastic, as shown in drawings fig.4, fig.6, and photograph fig.9. The pouffe of the set of upholstered lounge furniture 'according to the industrial design' is constructed in the shape of a quadrilateral with rounded sides /12/ the curvature corresponding to the curvature of the lower part of the armrests /and/or /10/, while at the top it has a quadrilateral seat cushion /3/, and this cushion on two opposite sides has an arc-shaped ending with a curvature analogous to the cradle of the undercut /7/ made on the armrests /1/ or /10/ of the other pieces of furniture in the set. On one side, the pouffe cushion is attached to the body of the rounded part on hinges, which allows it to be tilted and the space inside to be used as a container.
