The essence of the industrial design is the new form of the object, manifested in the shape and arrangement of lines. The aesthetic effect is achieved by the subtle combination of the sofa's box element with upholstered elements, creating a modern furniture shape and imparting a distinctive and original appearance. The industrial design is shown in the attached photographs, in which Fig. 1 shows a general view of the sofa, and Fig. 2 shows a general view of the armchair. A characteristic feature of the lounge suite based on the industrial design is that the sofa has a box element serving as a bedding container mounted on a metal frame consisting essentially of rectilinear rods extended beyond the edges of the box element and profiled into the furniture legs with a slightly curved arch at the foot. The sofa features an upholstered seat and backrest cushion, formed as a monolith with significantly protruding edges on the side sections beyond the box section. The upholstered seat and backrest cushions have rounded corners and are fitted with a durable, quilted cover with soft filling. The quilted cover features decorative stitching along the edges and longitudinal and transverse stitching throughout. The connection between the cover and the upholstered part of the furniture is slightly extended beyond the edge, so the edge of the cover is significantly angled, imitating the loose and relaxed positioning of the cover on the upholstered surface. Furthermore, the contour of the cover is slightly smaller than the contour of the upholstered seat and backrest cushions of the sofa. The box section is upholstered in the same upholstered fabric as the upholstered seat and backrest cushions. The soft, quilted cover features decorative stitching in a contrasting color to the rest of the sofa's upholstery. The armchair features upholstered seat and back cushions, a soft, quilted cover with the same qualities as the sofa, and is mounted on a metal frame with radially arranged legs that are curved at the foot.
