Abstract

The folding headrest according to the invention is designed mainly for back seats of a vehicle and it can assume active or passive position. It includes a cushion (1), which is connected with seat back using a pair of brackets (3). An upper rotation pin (5) is mounted in the upper part of the bracket (3) and in a frame (2) of a cushion (1) while a lower rotation pin (5') is mounted in the lower part of the bracket (4) and in a unit for fixing the bracket (4). A unit for active position blocking (8) is assigned to the bracket (3). Upon folding the headrest, the cushion (1) rotates around the upper rotation pin (5) and the lower part of the bracket (3) around the lower rotation pin (5').
