The essence of the industrial design is the original form of the plinth, the universality of use and the possibility of obtaining special and specific plastic and decorative-utility effects, shape compositions, colors, also resulting from the connection of the plinth with the furniture. ESSENTIAL FEATURES OF AN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN 1. A plinth, especially for furniture, is characterized in that it is a spatial form in external view resembling a tube flattened on both sides, closed on one side, due to which it has an ellipse-like shape in the cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, while on the front surface it has a light-emitting strip, while on the upper surface it has openings, as shown in the attached illustration fig. 1 to fig. 5. 2.
