Description

The subject of the invention is a support frame for an armchair, applicable to the assembly of seats in public transport vehicles.

The support frame of the seat, especially in public transport vehicles in the form of a section forming the seat and backrest, is mainly shaped like the seat. The requirements for armchair manufacturers relate to the shape of both the seat of the backrest and the width of the armchair.

There are known solutions presented in the patent application P.337640, in which the seat body is molded by injection and the top seat segment is attached, usually having a handle.

A previously prepared form should be used for each shape of the chair.

The chair solution presented in the patent description PL 207 065 has support frames made of fixed elements and front and rear linings adapted to them. The supporting frames are shaped according to the requirements of only one seat.

The presented solution allows you to put together any shape of the chair.

The essence of the invention, which is a support frame for an armchair, especially for public transport vehicles in the form of a section forming a seat and a backrest, consists in the fact that it is a central element, arched to connect the backrest segment and the seat segment, the central element having at its edges latch sockets for inserting the seat segment latch and the backrest segment latch, respectively, and directly at the inner bend, it has a latch socket for inserting the extreme, upper edge of the seat insert, hooked on the other gauge with a latch to the latch of the extended bottom wall of the seat segment, and a latch socket for inserting the extreme, the lower edge of the backrest insert, attached to the catch of the extended upper wall of the backrest segment.

Thanks to the solution according to the invention, the following technical and operational effects were obtained:

- the possibility of manufacturing an armchair with any shape of the seat and backrest, especially their length and any width by using and combining the seat and backrest segments with a fixed middle segment, and connecting both frames with shaped crossbars of any length, constituting the width of the armchair, and placing the backrest and seat insert o segments prepared for this width and length;

- possibility to use sections with the same cross-section as segments of the seat and backrest;

- reduction of the chair manufacturing costs by eliminating the costly molds for manufacturing the seats according to the shape desired by the client;

- waste reduction;

- reduction of warehouse costs.

The subject of the invention, in an exemplary embodiment, has been shown in the drawings in cross-sectional diagrams in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the elements, where Fig. 1 shows the armchair frame in combination, Fig. 2 shows a seat segment or a backrest segment, Fig. 3 shows a central element Fig. 4 shows a back pad and Fig. 5 shows a seat pad.

The supporting frame of the seat of public transport vehicles is formed by a central element 1, arched to connect the backrest segment 2 and the seat segment 3. The central element 1 at its edges has latch sockets 4 for inserting the latch 5 of the seat segment 3 and the latch 6 of the backrest segment 2, respectively. at the inner bend, the central element 1 has a catch 7 for inserting the extreme upper edge of the seat insert 8, which is hooked on the second gauge by the catch 9 to the catch 10 of the extended bottom wall of the seat section 3. On the other hand, the central element 1 has a catch 11 for inserting the outermost lower edge of the backrest insert 12, hooked by the catch 13 to the catch 14 of the extended upper wall of the backrest 2.

In order to assemble the chair, two symmetrically folded frames. The catches 5 of the seat segment 3 are inserted into the catching socket 4 of the central element 1, and the extreme upper surface of the seat insert 8, previously shaped to the required width, is inserted into the socket 7. On the other side, the seat insert 8 is connected with the catch 9 with the catch 10 of the extended bottom wall of the seat section 3.
