Abstract

The invention pertains to a sealing mat in the form of a roll strip designed so as to seal in an airy manner the crown or arris tiles. In order to improve the adhesiveness between the rubber-film roll strip (1) of the sealing mat and the metal strips (2a), it is suggested that perforations be provided in the edge areas (2) of the roll strip (1), on the longitudinal edge of the rubber film. It is also suggested that strippable tapes (6) be provided on the longitudinal edge underside of the rubber film. When pasting the metal tapes (2a) on the rubber film, material elements from the strippable tapes (2a) are compressed through the perforations (1a), thereby forming in the latter (1a) material plugs (6b), from which material such a butyl is obtained for making the strippable tapes. The material plugs (6b) adhere to the underside of the underlying metal strips.
