Description

Cieplo spalania rozchodzi sie w znacznej mierze w otaczajacej piec przestrzeni przez pro¬ mieniowanie plaszcza wkladki 1, dzieki czemu zwieksza sie wspólczynnik sprawnosci pieca.Po^a wyzej wymienionymi korzysciami piec odznacza sie szczególnie swa prostota, lekkoscia i tanioscia. PL PLThe present invention concerns a furnace for firing sawdust and similar waste. Known furnaces of this type essentially consist of a casing into which a fuel-filled insert is inserted. A disadvantage of these furnaces is that the heavy fuel-filled insert must be lifted over the top of the furnace when inserted, as it can only be inserted from above. The empty insert must be removed in a similar manner after the fuel has burned out. During operation, the insert's surface comes into contact with exhaust gases and becomes covered with soot, ash, and distillation products, so that it is impossible to avoid cluttering the furnace's surroundings and contaminating the person replacing the insert. In known furnaces, where the air passage leading from the air opening in the casing to the central passage in the insert is formed by the fuel itself, this passage often becomes clogged, causing operational problems. The invention eliminates these shortcomings through a new furnace design. The invention primarily consists of a kettle-shaped insert with a completely closed casing surface, except for the adjustable air opening, inserted into the furnace from the side. This eliminates the cumbersome task of lifting both the full and empty insert during replacement. The jacket surface of the insert does not come into contact with exhaust gases or dirty parts of the stove, so it remains clean and does not cause contamination to persons or the space in which the stove is placed. To tightly secure the inserted insert in the stove stand, it is best to use partial sheet metal bands, pivotally attached to the stand on hinges and provided with a locking mechanism. The risk of clogging the air supply is eliminated by the fact that the channel leading from the adjustable air supply opening in the jacket to the internal empty space in the fuel-filled insert is formed of solid walls so that it cannot collapse. For a more detailed explanation of the invention, it is shown in the attached drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows a schematic longitudinal section through the stove, Fig. 2 — cross-section along line II—II in Fig. 1 with the band open, Fig. 3 — cross-section along line I—I in Fig. I. A cylindrical boiler-shaped insert 1 made of sheet metal is placed on a base 10. The insert is provided with an opening 2 for supplying air, the free cross-section of which can be adjusted by means of a flap 3. Adjacent to the opening 2 is a chamber 4, formed of solid walls and communicating with the central channel 24 in the fuel. The insert is inserted into the stove stand from the side. The stove stand consists of a base 10 and an upper part 11, connected to the base by means of rods 12. The upper part is provided with an outlet pipe 13, leading to the chimney. The rods 12, shown in Fig. 1, are offset by 90". In order to tightly connect the insert 1 with the upper part of the stand 11, partial bands 15, 15' are provided, attached to the stand by hinges 14, which can be fastened together by means of a fastening lock 18, 16. The grips 5 facilitate the handling and carrying of the insert. After pressing the fuel in the insert 1 around the not shown pin, the shape of which corresponds to the empty space 24, and after pulling out this pin, the insert is inserted laterally into the stove stand while the partial bands 15 and 15' are open, and then the bands are fastened by means of a lock. 16, 18. The fuel is ignited through opening 2, and the combustion gases rise through the empty space 2U to the upper part 11 and escape from there through the outlet pipe 13 into the chimney. The combustion heat is largely spread into the space surrounding the stove by radiation from the liner 1, which increases the stove's efficiency. In addition to the above-mentioned advantages, the stove is particularly distinguished by its simplicity, lightness, and low cost.
