Abstract

The invention concerns a ground rod device (1) comprising a streamlined metal rod (2) with longitudinal planar orthogonally concurrent wings and a metal terminal-connector (5) capable of being threaded on the exposed end of the rod and with a threaded hole (14) traversed by a clamp screw (13) for removably fixing, to the rod (2), the exposed end of a ground cable (6) housed in the rod recess. Said rod (2) consists of a utility steel angle and said terminal-connector (5) forms a collar for enclosing the angle by its central recess (9) shaped like an isosceles right-angle triangle whereof the internal right angle matches, when the terminal-connector is clamped, the projecting external straight dihedral of the angle. The invention is useful for grounding electric installations.
