Podstawa (2) ma ogranicznik (3) ustalajacy wartosc przemieszczenia siedziska (1) w kierunku wzdluznym. Dodatkowo urzadzenie ma poduszke (5) z materialu rozpraszajacego energie uderzenia, mocowana do fotela poprzedzajacego (4), kierowcy lub pasazera.
