System do higieny jamy ustnej pacjentów intubowanych z zastosowaniem rurki intubacyjnej (120), zawierajacy: (a) element blokujacy przeplyw plynu (200) posiadajacy: (i) kanal odcinka srodkowego o takich wymiarach, by byl dopasowany dokladnie i cofliwie wokól rurki intubacyjnej (120); i (ii) zewnetrzna powierzchnie o wymiarach i/lub scisliwa tak, by element ten byl dopasowany dokladnie i cofliwie do czesci tylnej jamy ustnej doroslego pacjenta bedacego czlowiekiem, tak aby mógl obejmowac zarówno jej wymiary boczne, jak i wymiary jezyk - podniebienie miekkie; oraz (b) rurke zasysajaca (220) przymocowana do elementu blokujacego przeplyw plynu (200) tak, by dystalny koniec (222 lub 224) rurki zasysajacej byl ukierunkowany na odsysanie plynów z proksymalnej powierzchni elementu blokujacego przeplyw plynu.
