Abstract
Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób wytwarzania porowatych sorbentów weglowych, majacych zastosowanie zwlaszcza do oczyszczania powietrza, wody i gazów przemyslowych, do odzyskiwania rozpuszczalników, czy rozdzielania gazów lub mieszanin cieklych. Sposób polega na uzyciu do karbonizacji porowatych, polimerów usieciowanych w postaci mikrosfer, zawierajacych pierscienie aromatyczne, obnizajace jego palnosc i sprzyjajace utworzeniu stabilnej termicznie struktury weglowej, a takze tlenowe i/lub azotowe grupy funkcyjne niezdolne do wymiany jonowej, zwlaszcza karbonylowe, imidowe, estrowe lub eterowe. Prekursory takie, aktywowane sa solami w postaci hydratów, maksymalnie wypelniajacymi pory impregnowanych polimerów w czasie krystalizacji, dzieki czemu po karbonizacji wegle porowate uzyskuja duza powierzchnie wlasciwa i strukture mezoporów o jednorodnej wielkosci. Wydzielajace sie w czasie rozkladu soli substancje utleniajace np. wolny chlor, ditlenek wegla, kwas azotowy, octany i kwas octowy czy aceton uwalniaja strukture porowata od substancji oleistych i smolistych, co równiez wplywa na zwiekszenie powierzchni wlasciwej sorbenta i objetosci jego porów. Dodatkowo w procesie utleniania, na powierzchni produktu weglowego tworza sie grupy funkcyjne, które wraz z metalami wbudowanymi trwale w strukture sorbentu, poprawiaja zdolnosc sorpcyjna wzgledem substancji chemicznych o okreslonym powinowactwie. Ferromagnetyczne wlasciwosci kationów soli uzytych do impregnacji, umozliwiaja ich usuniecie ze srodowiska reakcji za pomoca magnesu. Zdolnosc desorbowania zwiazków z sorbentu, glównie dzieki jednorodnosci w zakresie mezoporów, umozliwia ponowne jego uzycie do procesu sorpcji.
