Abstract

Przedstawiono nowatorska antykoncepcyjna wkladke wewnatrzmaciczna (IUD) by przezwyciezyc problem istniejacy w przypadku konwencjonalnych srodków antykoncepcyjnych. Wkladka jest pokryta cienka warstwa biodegradowalnego/bioabsorbowalnego polimeru by kontrolowac nadmierne uwalnianie jonów miedzi na wczesnym etapie oraz zminimalizowac krwawienie i ból po wlozeniu wkladki. Cienka warstwa polimerowa charakteryzuje sie kontrolowanym tempem degradacji i ulega korzystnej degradacji w srodowisku macicy w ciagu pewnego okresu czasu, powiedzmy pomiedzy 1 miesiacem a 5 miesiacami.
