Abstract
Sposób wytwarzania żelaza w stanie stałym polega na tym, że do podgrzanego pieca wprowadza się wsad o ziarnistości poniżej 0,2 mm zawierający materiał tlenku żelaza wraz z topnikiem oraz odgazowany węgiel jako węglowy środek redukujący po czym ogrzewa się go i redukuje się materiał tlenku żelaza środkiem redukującym w temperaturze od 1350°C do 1400°C w czasie nie dłuższym niż 5 minut.
