Tomograf hybrydowy TOF-PET/MRI zawierający tomograf TOF-PET oraz tomograf MRI. Tomograf TOF-PET (120) zawiera polimerowe paski scyntylacyjne (121) rozmieszczone obwodowo wewnątrz obszaru roboczego pola magnetycznego cewki odbiorczo-nadawczej tomografu MRI (130) i konwertery foto-elektryczne (122) do konwersji sygnałów świetlnych z pasków scyntylacyjnych (121) na sygnały elektryczne, przy czym konwertery fotoelektryczne (122) znajdują się poza obszarem roboczym pola magnetycznego tomografu MRI (130).
