Robot mobilny mający platformę mobilną, w której ułożyskowane są koła jezdne przednie i tylne oraz wyposażony w manipulator, charakteryzuje się tym, że w osi przedniego koła (3), stanowiącej przegub ramienia (4) manipulatora (2), usytuowane są napędy manipulatora (2), przy czym ramię (4) manipulatora (2) jest zaopatrzone w przegub (6), usytuowany na przeciwnym krańcu ramienia (4), przeznaczony do osadzania dodatkowych elementów manipulatora (2), zaś w osi przegubu (6) ramienia (4) usytuowane jest koło podpierające (7).
