Abstract

Wynalazek dotyczy racemicznego cis-5-etylo-4-(4'-metylofenylo)-dihydrofuran-2-onu o wzorze 1 oraz sposobu jego otrzymywania, który polega na tym, że cis-5-(1-jodoetylo)-4-(4'-metylofenylo)-dihydrofuran-2-on poddaje się reakcji z wodorkiem tri-n-butylocyny(IV) w rozpuszczalniku organicznym, a następnie powstały w wyniku reakcji cis-5-etylo-4-(4'-metylofenylo)-dihydrofuran-2-on wydziela się w postaci czystej metodą chromatografii kolumnowej. Racemiczny ß-arylo-?-etylo-?-lakton o wzorze 1 może znaleźć zastosowanie w przemyśle rolno-spożywczym jako związek ograniczający rozwój patogennych szczepów bakterii.The invention relates to racemic cis-5-ethyl-4- (4'-methylphenyl) dihydrofuran-2-one of formula 1 and a method for its preparation, which consists in that cis-5- (1-iodoethyl) -4- ( 4'-methylphenyl) dihydrofuran-2-one is reacted with tri-n-butyltin (IV) hydride in an organic solvent, followed by the reaction of cis-5-ethyl-4- (4'-methylphenyl) dihydrofuran -2-one is isolated in pure form by column chromatography. The racemic ß-aryl-α-ethyl-α-lactone of formula 1 may find application in the agri-food industry as a compound limiting the development of pathogenic bacterial strains.
