Abstract

Sposób wytwarzania ekologicznych polioli z odpadu po transestryfikacji olejów roślinnych charakteryzuje się tym, że odpad ogrzewa się do temperatury w przedziale od 160 do 240°C, korzystnie od 175 do 185°C pod obniżonym ciśnieniem, oddestylowując części lotne, aż do momentu zaprzestania wydzielania się skroplin oraz otrzymania produktu o liczbie hydroksylowej od 400 do 1200 mg KOH/g, który następnie schładza się do temperatury nieprzekraczającej 100°C, po czym zakwasza się kwasem protonowym, korzystnie kwasem siarkowym o pH od 4,5 do 9, korzystnie od 6,5 do 7,5. Następnie mieszaninę reakcyjną ogrzewa się pod obniżonym ciśnieniem do temperatury w przedziale od 100 do 120°C, do momentu zaprzestania wydzielania się wody. Poliole są również wytwarzane z poligliceryn przedłużanych kwasami tłuszczowymi oraz zmodyfikowanymi kwasami tłuszczowymi. Ujawniono również sposób wytwarzania pianek poliuretanowych z użyciem polioli uzyskanych sposobem opisanym powyżej. Pianki dodatkowo zawierają substancje zmniejszające ich palność.
