Abstract

Przedmiotem wynalazku jest sposób otrzymywania kompaktowych tworzyw styropianowych, zawierających spieniony polistyren opcjonalnie wraz z uniepalniaczem, spieniaczem oraz polistyren odpadowy, obejmujący znane etapy otrzymywania polistyrenu metodą formowania blokowego, charakteryzujący się tym, że polistyren odpadowy rozdrabnia się w temperaturze w zakresie od 0 do 70°C w obecności: wody w ilości 1,5 - 30% wagowych oraz opcjonalnie uniepalniaczy w ilości 2 - 15% wagowych i w obecności środków powierzchniowoczynnych w ilości 0,3 - 10% wagowych - do uzyskania rozdrobnienia w przedziale 0,5 - 30 mm, przy czym ilość poszczególnych składników podana jest w stosunku do ilości polistyrenu odpadowego, a następnie po wysuszeniu rozdrobnionego, opcjonalnie uniepalnionego polistyrenu odpadowego dodaje się go do spienionego polistyrenu, w ilości 1 - 80% wagowych w stosunku do spienionego polistyrenu.
