Abstract
Igła do biopsji stercza składająca się z kaniuli (1) i osadzonego przesuwnie w kaniuli (1) ostro zakończonego mandrynu (2), oraz w tylnej części z uchwytów (3a, 3b) do pistoletu biopsyjnego, charakteryzuje się tym, że wewnętrzna powierzchnia (4) kaniuli (1) i/lub zewnętrzna powierzchnia kaniuli (1) i/lub powierzchnia mandrynu (2) pokryta jest co najmniej jedną warstwą aktywną (6) zawierającą środek biologicznie aktywny. Warstwa aktywna (6) korzystnie ma formę biodegradowalną, umożliwiającą kontrolowane uwalnianie środka biologicznie aktywnego podczas biopsji stercza. Igła do biopsji stercza w odmianie wynalazku charakteryzuje się tym że, w ściance kaniuli uformowany jest wzdłużny kanał przelotowy o zamkniętym profilu przekroju poprzecznego, który przebiega przez całą długość kaniuli lub jej fragment. Kanał przelotowy umożliwia podanie środka biologicznie aktywnego podczas biopsji stercza.
