Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób odbarwiania odpadów politereftalanu etylenu PET. Wstępnie rozdrobnione kolorowe odpady PET poddaje się roztworzeniu w wysoko wrzącym alkoholu jednowodorotlenowym lub wielowodorotlenowym lub w ich mieszaninach z dodatkiem katalizatorów alkalicznych lub kwasowych, w podwyższonej temperaturze w zakresie od 150°C do 260°C. Po roztworzeniu otrzymaną masę poddaje się filtrowaniu i ochłodzeniu do temperatury powyżej 60°C. Następnie prowadzi się proces ekstrakcji pod ciśnieniem normalnym lub podwyższonym z zastosowaniem ekstrahentów w postaci rozpuszczalników organicznych o gęstości mniejszej lub większej, co najmniej o 100 kg/m3 od gęstości roztworu PET w mieszaninie roztwarzającej. Ekstrakcję prowadzi się w instalacjach jednostopniowych lub wielostopniowych w procesie okresowym lub korzystnie w procesie ciągłym. Otrzymany odbarwiony PET odprowadza się do zbiornika magazynowego (6). Zabarwione ekstrahenty poddaje się regeneracji, korzystnie przez destylację i zawraca się do kolejnego cyklu produkcyjnego.
