Przedmiotem wynalazku jest kondensator elektrochemiczny składający się z dwóch elektrod węglowych usytuowanych w elektrolicie charakteryzujący się tym, że obie elektrody wykonane są z materiału węglowego o wysokiej powierzchni właściwej, w zakresie od 200 do 3000 m2 g-1, gdzie elektrody oddzielone są przez porowatą membranę oraz usytuowane w elektrolicie zawierającym sól metalu przejściowego spośród: MnSO4, ZnSO4, Mn(NO3)2, Zn(NO3)2 o stężeniu pomiędzy 0.0001 mol L-1 - 6.4 mol L-1, korzystnie 1 mol L-1, oraz soli jodku o stężeniu 0.0001 mol L-1 - 13.5 mol L-1, korzystnie 0.5 mol L-1.The subject of the invention is an electrochemical capacitor consisting of two carbon electrodes located in the electrolyte characterized in that both electrodes are made of carbon material with a high specific surface area in the range from 200 to 3000 m2 g-1, where the electrodes are separated by a porous membrane and located in the electrolyte containing the transition metal salt from among: MnSO4, ZnSO4, Mn (NO3) 2, Zn (NO3) 2 with a concentration between 0.0001 mol L-1 - 6.4 mol L-1, preferably 1 mol L-1, and iodide salt a concentration of 0.0001 mol L-1 - 13.5 mol L-1, preferably 0.5 mol L-1.
