Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest katalizator do elektroutleniania kwasu mrówkowego, zawierający pallad osadzony na wielościennych nanorurkach węglowych (MWCNTs) metodą redukcji prekursora Pd za pomocą wysokoenergetycznego promieniowania rentgenowskiego w środowisku zasadowym (pH = 8 - 12) lub metodą redukcji za pomocą NaBH4 w środowisku zasadowym (pH = 8 - 12) chrakteryzujący się tym, że dodatkowo poddany jest procedurze kondycjonowania próbki w kwasie mrówkowym, korzystnie w kwasie mrówkowym o stężeniu co najmniej 0,5 M wykonana jest w temperaturze od 15 do 40°C, w okresie co najmniej 30 minut, korzystniej 15 godzin. Zgłoszenie to obejmuje też sposób otrzymywania powyższego katalizatora, jego zastosowanie do elektroutleniania kwasu mrówkowego w ogniwach paliwowych zasilanych kwasem mrówkowym, a ponadto wynalazek obejmuje elektrodę do elektroutleniania kwasu mrówkowego w ogniwie paliwowym i ogniwo paliwowe na kwas mrówkowy.
