Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób otrzymywania nisko- i/lub średniocząsteczkowych polimerowych związków powierzchniowo-czynnych o określonej równowadze hydrofilowo-lipofilowej (indeks HLB), oparty na efektywnym wykorzystaniu procesów estryfikacji i/lub transestryfikacji estrów organicznych i/lub kwasów organicznych z alkoholami organicznymi. Uzyskiwane związki powierzchniowo-czynne mogą być stosowane przede wszystkim jako surfaktanty polimerowe.
