Abstract
Zn i 2,5% - 2,9% wag. In the method of processing steel dust from the power plant in accordance with the invention, a mixture of dust with a reducer in the form of a mixture of coke breeze and anthracite and limestone with a content of ca. steel drum slanted in relation to the ground lined inside with ceramic materials, where due to its inclination and rotational movement regulated by steps, the charge moves. The charge, moving along the heated furnace drum (3), is dried, and then, over a section of approx. 20% of the length of the furnace working space (3), it heats up to a temperature of 1100 ° C. In the second furnace zone (3) on a section of approx. 60% of its total length, the charge is heated to a temperature of 1100-1250 ° C, in which the zinc layer is reduced from the charge layer, and then the reduced zinc is evaporated and the air sucked in by the extraction fan (3.3) ) it oxidizes in this furnace space (3). Oxidized zinc carried by the stream of process gases enters the third zone of the furnace (3), where the reduction reaction disappears for approx. 20% of its total length, and slag forming waste from the process is formed. Waste at a temperature of about 550 - 650 ° C gravitational leaves the furnace (3), while zinc oxide dust raised in the process gas stream leaving the furnace working space (3) is deposited in subsequent devices of the cooling-dedusting installation, i.e. in the dust chamber (6) ) heat exchangers, hot (10) and cold (11) and six-chamber filter (13) of intensive dust removal. The product of the break-through process in the form of raw zinc oxide deposited in the coolers (10, 11) contains from 52% to 56% by weight. Zn and 2.5% - 2.9% by weight Pb, whereas in the filter (13) contains from 59% to 64% by weight of Zn and 4.5% - 6.0% by weight of Pb with grain size less than 0.04 mm and a bulk density in the range of 1.2 - 1.4 mg / m3. The yield of zinc from the waste material obtained in this way is from 89% to 92%.
