Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest kompleks rutenu o wzorze 1, w którym wszystkie zmienne mają zdefiniowane w opisie znaczenia. Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest także zastosowanie przedmiotowego kompleksu jako (pre)katalizatora w reakcji metatezy olefin, reakcji metatezy z zamknięciem pierścienia (RCM), homometatezy (self-CM), metatezy krzyżowej, w tym etenolizy (CM).
