Zgłoszenie dotyczy sposobu otrzymywania 1-fenylo-1,2-etanodiolu charakteryzującego się tym, że 2-fenyloetanol poddaje się 3 dniowej reakcji biotransformacji z użyciem immobilizowanego szczepu Rhizopus oryzae (DSM 1185) jako biokatalizatora reakcji.
