Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest nowy szczep bakterii Pediococcus acidilactici PD2 KKP 2065p zdeponowany w Kolekcji Kultur Drobnoustrojów Przemysłowych Instytutu Biotechnologii Przemysłu Rolno-Spożywczego w Warszawie im. prof. Wacława Dąbrowskiego, pod numerem KKP 2065 p, przy czym wymieniony szczep ma zdolność metabolizowania 1,2-propanodiolu i wykazuje zdolność syntezy kwasu propionowego, w ilościach efektywnych do zastosowania do przedłużania stabilności tlenowej kiszonek. Zgłoszenie dotyczy także kultury starterowej i preparatu obejmujących nowy szczep Pediococcus acidilactici PD2 KKP 2065p.
