Rozwiązanie dotyczy sposobu odzyskiwania wartościowych metali z rudy (50), skonfigurowanego tak, by zasadniczo zmniejszyć lub wyeliminować zapotrzebowanie na obiekt do przechowywania odpadów górniczych. Ten cel jest osiągnięty przez zintegrowany system wzbogacania, zaprojektowany do poprawy stosunku rezyduum piasku z flotacji grubej (62) do ilości odpadów górniczych powstałych z flotacji drobnej (72), a następnie zmieszania części materiałów skały płonnej z flotacji grubej i drobnej w swobodnie osuszającym się składowisku (82).
